Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden Named ENR Midwest’s ‘Project of the Year’
Engineering News-Record and a panel of industry experts selected the project from more than 87 entries. The panel noted use of forward-thinking construction solutions, a dedication to sustainability, and teamwork as key to its success.
The LEED Gold-certified, 91,700 SF Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden is dedicated to sustainability and high-lighting rare plants from around the world. The facility welcomes more than 1 million guests annually and consists of an event center, gift shop, meeting spaces, restaurant with garden views, auditorium and conservatory.
